Aephoria

Aephoria sustainability for people and environment is a non- profit making, non-governmental organization established (2002) in Greece and registered n the Greek Foreign Affairs’ register for NGDOs (Reg. Number 146) and member of the NGO register of the Greek Ministry of Environment. Aephoria’s purpose is to contribute to sustainable human development in providing development and emergency aid, protecting natural resources and cultural heritage. Aephoria’s vision and mission is the search and implementation of sustainable solutions for people and environment with main goals: improving people’s livelihoods and poverty alleviation, promoting an environmental-friendly and human development, preserving natural resources and cultural heritage, enhancing intercultural cooperation in close cooperation with the public and private sector. Aephoria’s strategic objective is sustainability applied in the following fields of intervention: development cooperation on issues of rural growth, education, health, social solidarity, basic infrastructures, culture, research and technology, humanitarian assistance and natural resources management, protection of sensitive ecosystems. Aephoria realizing the effectiveness from a NGDOs cooperation suggests the common submission of clauses in national, european and international cooperation programs for a dynamic and competitive candidacy.
